The power was out when I arrived, and I had to talk to a agent from Bookings.com to put my wife on the reservation so she could check in when power was back on. That agent from Bookings (not your staff) was horrible, wanted to charge me $50 for modifying my reservation, told them its ok I’ll check in and they canceled my entire reservation and said I’d be charged. Then hung up on me when I tried to call back. Your again assured me they would charge me the cancelation and even gave me the same rate I had booked before. She was great, professional, and rectified the horrible experience I had with bookings and made the trip all worth wile!

The window-shades did not work in the room when we arrived. I called front desk and the guy arrived in about 10 minutes, but was unable to fix the blue-tooth operated shades. When he started to take them down, I suggested we be located to another room, which he did within a few minutes. The new room had a chaise which was not in the first room, and the blinds were manually operated so no trouble raising or lowering them. Heat control was good. Breakfast generous. Bathtub a plus. Swimming pool nice and clean (only 4 ft deep).

Undoubtedly the best feature of this hotel was the eminently practical layout of both the bedroom and washroom. There was more storage in this hotel room than any that I have stayed in previously - and we really needed it as we were staying there one night in the middle of moving from Brooklyn to Canada. You could tell they had actually put a lot of thought into designing the rooms, which so often is not the case. The parking lot was large and safe. The breakfast was pretty good for a free hotel breakfast.

Very spacious room, plenty of places to spread out. Not too hot or cold. Comfortable beds and linens. Plenty of towels for family of 4 -was nice not to have to chase housekeeping down, which seems to be the trend in other places we've stayed recently. Breakfast was good for a "free" included breakfast. Good selection and my daughter was pleased to find lactose free milk. Cozy seating areas.

Desantis

The room was huge and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was massive, hot and fresh. The pool was nice but the air in the room was chilly so we couldn't swim for long. I love the dove soaps and hand wash and lotion provided. Also THANK YOU .for the firm pillows!!
